The MediaLink MLC 64 RS VC D is an easy-to-use, two-gang keypad controller featuring a volume control knob for smooth, precise volume levels and seven backlit soft touch buttons for a contemporary look and feel. It is used for controlling common AV functions, such as power and input switching, in single display applications including classrooms and meeting facilities. The MLC 64 RS VC D mounts in a two-gang junction box, and includes black and white decorator-style wallplates.

The MLC 64 RS VC D provides remote volume and mute control of any Extron power amplifier or mic preamplifier with a remote volume control port. It is equipped with one unidirectional RS-232 serial port and one unidirectional IR/Serial port for controlling external devices. This allows the controller to communicate with virtually any RS-232-enabled projector or flat panel display. In addition, a digital input and two relays are included for monitoring and controlling other systems in the room, including lighting, screens, motion sensors, and other devices.

The Easy-to-use MLC 60 Series Configuration Software provides fast and simple setup via RS-232 or USB when combined with one of many ready-to-use IR or RS-232 Extron Certified Device Drivers available on the Extron Web site. The configuration program and MLC 64 RS VC D also support IR Learning for creating new IR drivers from the handheld remote of a source or display device.
