The Extron AXI 02 AT is a compact audio interface that extracts two channels from a Dante® audio network. This Dante Audio Interface provides two channels of audio output from the network to devices without Dante connectivity. It features two line level analog outputs on captive screw connectors with a mirrored two-channel S/PDIF output on a coaxial RCA connector. The AXI 02 AT interfaces with a Dante audio network over a standard local area network, and is powered through PoE. The AXI 02 AT includes a ZipClip® 100 Mounting Kit and is compatible with Extron Rack Shelves and ZipClip 200 mounting solutions.

Easily Provide Local or Remote Connectivity into Audio Systems
The AXI 02 AT can accept any two audio channels from a Dante network and deliver them through its two line level outputs and mirrored two-channel S/PDIF output. The analog outputs also provide adjustable attenuation, configured with DSP Configurator Software.

Dante Audio Networking
Dante enables audio system scalability over a local area network using standard Internet protocols. The family of Dante-enabled products from Extron work together as part of a complete networked audio system solution and integrate with other Dante-enabled products to create efficient, scalable system designs. They accommodate a wide range of audio routing needs in a variety of applications.

Setting up a network of Extron Dante-enabled products, including the AXI 02 AT, requires Dante Controller software. Dante Controller is used to easily assign a Dante source to an output on the AXI 02 AT.

Features

  • Extracts two audio channels from a Dante® network — Two channels of high quality digital audio can be extracted from the Dante network and converted to balanced or unbalanced line level analog audio on a captive screw connector.
  • Dante audio networking with Dante Domain Manager and AES67 provides flexible connectivity — Dante-equipped audio products, including the AXI 02 AT, provide scalability for creating larger audio systems over a local area network using standard network protocols and hardware.
  • Mirrored two-channel analog and S/PDIF audio outputs — Audio is provided as two line level analog outputs on captive screw connectors, and a mirrored two-channel S/PDIF output on a coaxial RCA connector
  • Studio grade 24-bit digital-to-analog conversion with selectable sampling rates up to 96 kHz — Professional converters fully preserve the integrity of the original audio signal, with selectable sampling rates via Dante Controller.
  • Power over Ethernet — Allows the AXI 02 AT to receive power and audio over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply.
  • Analog output is software adjustable via network to compensate for downstream level requirements — Control using SIS commands via USB, or through a DMP Plus Series DSP or IPCP Pro xi Series control processor over a Dante network
  • 1U, eighth rack width enclosure, ZipClip 100 included — Compatible with Extron Rack Shelves and ZipClip mounting solutions.
  • Controllable via the Dante network
  • Network monitoring and control of gain and mute
  • Control the AXI through a DMP Plus Series processor over a Dante network
  • Via an IPCP Pro xi Series control processors with GCP drivers and DanteInterface Class in ControlScript, connected to a Dante network.
