The Extron CS 3T is a full-range ceiling speaker featuring an open back and transformer for use in non-plenum airspace environments. It features a 3" (76 mm) full-range driver and can be used in 70/100 volt or 8 ohm operation. The CS 3T provides an extremely wide 165° conical dispersion for flexibility in speaker spacing. It is designed for applications where high intelligibility and maximum coverage is desired in voice reinforcement applications and low ceiling installations. The CS 3T features a power rating of 16 watts continuous pink noise and 32 watts continuous program capacity.
The CS 3T offers both direct 8 ohm or 70/100 volt operation with a behind-the-grille, six position power selector switch. For room balancing with 70/100 volt systems, the behind-the-grille power selector switch allows for 16, 8, 4, 2, and 1 watt settings in 70 volt operation, and 16, 8, 4, and 2 watt settings for 100 volt operation.
CS 3T speakers are sold in pairs and include a 5 year parts and labor warranty.
The CS 3T features a thin-edged bezel for a refined appearance on the ceiling. The grille attaches magnetically to the baffle and quickly snaps into place. The white grille and bezel can be painted to match the architectural elements of the environment. If installing the CS 3T into a ceiling tile, the optional Ceiling Mount Kit is recommended to prevent deforming or breaking the ceiling tile.
