The Extron MPA 152 Plus is a compact, stereo mini power amplifier built into a 1U quarter-rack metal enclosure. Designed to deliver up to 15 W RMS per channel (into 4 Ω) and 8 W into 8 Ω, it's ideal for classrooms, small meeting spaces, or any setting requiring clean, economical audio from low-power speakers.
This ENERGY STAR®–qualified amplifier features Extron’s patented CDRS™ (Class D Ripple Suppression) technology, improving audio clarity and reducing RF interference from switching ripple. It operates in a fanless convection-cooled chassis and is UL 2043 plenum-rated, making it perfect for concealed or above-ceiling installations.
Built-in auto–power-down after ~25 minutes of inactivity (standby < 1 W), with a fast wake-up, conserves energy. Idle power is typically around 4 W.
