The Extron MPA 601 is a compact, single-channel 70 V/100 V mono power amplifier delivering 60 W RMS output—perfect for small-to-medium distributed audio or paging systems. It features Extron’s Class D amplifier design with patented CDRS™ (Class D Ripple Suppression), providing clean, low-distortion audio performance. The unit comes in a fanless, convection-cooled UL 2043‑rated plenum enclosure, enabling in‑ceiling installation and reliable, quiet operation without airflow clearance.
Incoming stereo sources (up to three) are individually buffered and summed to mono, offering flexibility for multiple input sources. An auto-standby timer powers down the amplifier after ~25 minutes of inactivity (reducing standby power to <1 W), with the option to disable this feature when continuous operation is needed.
