The Extron NetPA U 8001 SUB is a powerful, mono subwoofer amplifier specially designed for Dante® network audio systems. It delivers up to 800 W RMS into 8 Ω speakers (650 W at 4 Ω; 325 W at 2 Ω), in a half-rack, 1U convection-cooled enclosure that is UL 2043 plenum-rated—perfect for direct mounting to Extron’s SF 10C SUB in-ceiling subwoofer or use in rack installations.

This ENERGY STAR® certified device features ultra-efficient Class D amplification with patented CDRS™ (Class D Ripple Suppression), minimizing RF interference while extending system reliability. It includes integrated DSP with a 4×5 mix matrix, adjustable crossovers, filters, dynamics, delay, ducking, and line outputs for flexible routing and processing.

Thanks to InstaWake™ technology, the amplifier exits standby in under 100 ms with minimal inrush current, and has selectable auto-standby to reduce idle power consumption—drawing less than 4 W in standby mode.
