The Extron XPA U 1004 SB is a four‑channel, bridgeable output power amplifier designed for professional installations, compatible with 8 Ω, 4 Ω, 70 V, or 100 V systems. As an ENERGY STAR® Level 3 device, it provides high performance with excellent energy efficiency.
Each pair of channels can operate independently as two 100 W channels into low‑impedance loads, or be configured via a rear-mounted rotary switch to deliver one bridged 200 W channel, even for high‑impedance (70 V/100 V) loads. Constructed with a fan‑less convection‑cooled enclosure, it can be stacked without ventilation gaps, ideal for space‑constrained racks. The unit is UL 2043 plenum-rated when used with the optional flexible conduit adapter.
Advanced Class D architecture with CDRS™ (Class D Ripple Suppression) ensures clean, distortion‑free audio, while auto‑standby reduces power consumption to <1 W after ~25 minutes of inactivity.
