The Extron XPA U 358C is a high-density eight-channel amplifier in a compact half-rack 1U chassis. It delivers four channels of 35 W each at 8 Ω/4 Ω, and four channels of 35 W each at 70 V or 100 V, all simultaneously. The amp uses a fanless, convection-cooled design and is UL 2043 plenum-rated (with optional conduit kit), allowing stackable installations without ventilation spacing. It features Extron’s CDRS™ (Class D Ripple Suppression), Everlast power supplies, ultra-low inrush current, defeatable auto‑standby, and InstaWake™ activation in under 100 ms. ENERGY STAR® certified, it offers silent, efficient, and reliable performance in professional AV environments.
